Ester Expósito gave the black carpet a playful twist—her blue-and-white checkered co-ord at the El Talento photocall was part Brigitte Bardot, part Gen-Z power move.
Some outfits flirt with nostalgia. Others remix it. At the El Talento photocall in Madrid on September 1st, 2025, Ester Expósito arrived in a look that did both—effortlessly. While others leaned into tailored neutrals and safe silhouettes, Expósito chose gingham and attitude. And it worked.

She wore a cropped shirt and matching mini skirt in a blue-and-white checkered print—classic gingham, but with a modern cut. The shirt, fitted and slightly boxy, hit just above the waist, revealing a sliver of midriff. The skirt was short, structured, and clean-lined, giving the look a youthful edge without tipping into cliché. The fabric appeared lightweight, possibly cotton or a cotton-blend, with just enough stiffness to hold shape under the flashbulbs.
