Sydney Sweeney, star of “Euphoria,” might have fallen in love with Scooter Braun, a major figure in the music industry. Since the celebration of Sweeney’s 28th birthday in Los Angeles, their connection has been widely covered by the media. In costume as a Jedi knight, Braun, 44, attended the celebration as well. Nevertheless, the couple remained private throughout the event, which was also attended by well-known people like Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos.
A source close to the pair, shared with Page Six, that “he really, really likes her.” Further adding that that they have “never” seen Braun like someone to this extent. Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun first met at the Bezos-Sanchez wedding in Italy. As per Page Six, Sydney actively pursued Braun irrespective of their age difference. Since then, their dating has comprised several low key outings, dinners and even a double date with Sweeney’s parents at a Los Angeles Halloween event.
“It’s not a casual relationship. It’s game on, it’s full throttle,” an insider told Page Six. “They are together.” However, several people were quick to weigh in on the scenario, saying that they were an unlikely pair. Despite this those close to Braun have reaffirmed to Page Six, that, “I think anybody that goes public isn’t kidding around, right?”
The romance comes on the back of ‘The White Lotus’ star’s separation from her former fiancé, Jonathan Davino, earlier this year. Meanwhile Braun, who is divorced from mining heiress, Yael Cohen in 2022, after seven years of marriage, still remains close to her. Braun refers to Cohen as being “on the same team for life.”
Sweeney is currently promoting her biopic movie ‘Christy’, and is at a crucial point in her professional career. Braun, on the other hand, is a billionaire who retired from the music industry last summer. “There’s nothing he can gain of her. You know, he doesn’t need the money, he doesn’t need the deals. He doesn’t need the connections,” said a source close to the couple.
With the duo navigating new waters in their respective personal and professional lives, Sydney and Braun are emerging as the new and popular couple in town.
