The accusations have been swirling back and forth for months. Blake Lively accuses her co-star Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment on the set of the film “One More Time.” First, he demanded money from her for defamation. Now she’s turning the tables.
Blake Lively claims to have lost $161 million (nearly €140 million) due to the “One More Time” drama of the past few months. According to Variety magazine, this information comes from recent court documents. The actress blames the alleged targeted damage to her reputation in connection with the film.
Lively had previously made allegations against co-star and director Justin Baldoni, producer Jamey Heath, studio head Steve Sarowitz, and their PR team. She claims that the negative campaign against her was launched in response to her allegations of sexual harassment on set.
According to Variety, the damages are comprised of various items: Lively’s lawyers estimate lost revenue from acting, production, speaking engagements, and advertising partnerships at approximately $56.2 million. Losses of $49 million are claimed for Lively’s beauty brand Blake Brown and $22 million for her beverage brand Betty Buzz/Betty Booze. An additional $34 million is claimed for reputational damage, based on approximately 65 million negative social media impressions.
The original lawsuit was first filed at the end of 2024. At that time, the damages claimed amounted to “only” around $75,000. The now publicly disclosed figure of $161 million is part of a disclosure to the opposing party and, according to the lawyers, will be further substantiated by expert opinions and witness testimony.
Trial scheduled for March
The trial against Baldoni and the producers is currently scheduled for March 2026. Numerous celebrities and industry figures have been named as potential witnesses, including singer Taylor Swift, entrepreneur Scooter Braun, Hollywood stars Emily Blunt and Hugh Jackman, model Gigi Hadid, and leading Sony executives. However, it is expected that most of them will not actually testify.
Justin Baldoni, for his part, filed a lawsuit against Lively, claiming that her allegations had caused him $400 million in damages. This lawsuit was dismissed in June 2025, as the court ruled that statements made in legal proceedings cannot be the subject of a defamation suit.
