“After the first child, everything basically went back to normal,” Lawrence explains, referring to her body. “With the second—nothing went back to normal.” The 34-year-old didn’t want to think about it for long: the procedure is already scheduled for November. One reason is a nude scene she’ll be filming in the spring for a new movie. “Maybe I wouldn’t rush to the appointment so quickly if I weren’t an actress,” the mother of two admits. “But I think I would.”

Lawrence, who raises her three-year-old son Cy and another young boy with her husband Cooke Maroney, also makes it clear that this probably won’t be her last cosmetic surgery. She emphasizes that she doesn’t want to use fillers because they are too noticeable on camera. However, she has already had experience with Botox, albeit only in moderation, because she still needs to be able to move her forehead for her job. She hasn’t had a facelift yet—not yet. “But believe me, I will!” she adds with a laugh, according to The New Yorker.

As Lawrence embarks on the next phase of her career, she also reflects on her early years in Hollywood. She became famous not only for her emotionally powerful roles, but also for her unconventional, humorous interviews and her seemingly “approachable” manner. “Well, that is—or was—really my personality,” the 34-year-old emphasizes. “But it was also a defense mechanism. It was like saying, ‘I’m not like that! I’m terrified every single day!'”

Today, however, she views this public version of herself more critically. “I watch these interviews, and this persona is annoying. I understand why it’s annoying to see this persona everywhere. Ariana Grande’s parody of me on SNL (the comedy show “Saturday Night Live”) was absolutely spot on,” she said, referring to a sketch that aired in 2018. “I felt—no, I think I was —rejected. Not because of my movies or my political views, but because of me, because of my personality.”
