When I’m stuck, I ask the AI. Kim Kardashian thought the same thing during exams in her legal studies. Afterwards, she initially cursed ChatGPT, but then praised the program as a therapist.
It was a long and arduous journey, but Kim Kardashian , 45, made it: In May, the entrepreneur completed her six-year legal education . She overcame several difficulties along the way, having to retake multiple exams because she failed them. And now she’s found someone to blame: ChatGPT !
In a video interview for Vanity Fair, Kardashian—connected to a lie detector—speaks with singer Teyana Taylor. Kardashian reveals that she doesn’t use ChatGPT for advice on everyday matters or dating. However, she adds, “I use it for legal advice.” She explains that if she needed the answer to a question during an exam, she would submit it to ChatGPT.
“So you cheat?” asks her conversation partner, Taylor. “The answers are always wrong. I’ve failed exams because of it,” Kardashian replies. “And then I get angry and yell at it: You failed me. Why did you do that?” Like the businesswoman, many a student, trainee, or apprentice who has sought AI help has probably had a similar experience.
But Kardashian apparently isn’t entirely hostile towards ChatGPT. After giving her incorrect answers, the AI explained that it was teaching her to trust herself. “It’s teaching me a life lesson and becoming my therapist, explaining why I need to believe in myself.” Interviewee Taylor, however, considers this a toxic relationship.
Incidentally, while Kardashian has completed her legal training, she hasn’t yet taken the California bar exam. Will she seek help from ChatGPT again? If she fails, the answer is clear.
