Pop queen Kylie Minogue decided to start the holidays early and unveiled a rousing Christmas single titled ” XMAS .” The track, spelled out literally, is now available on Amazon Music and sets the tone for the upcoming release. Kylie also announced a special reissue of her iconic holiday album, “Kylie Christmas ,” which was first released ten years ago.
The new version of the album is titled Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped) . It will feature all the tracks from the original 2015 release, including famous covers of classic hits. The biggest surprise for fans will be four brand new songs, recorded especially for the anniversary. Among them are the aforementioned “XMAS,” as well as the tracks ” Hot In December , ” “This Time Of Year,” and “Office Party . “
The artist herself admits that working on the updated version of the album was a great pleasure. She says the project allowed her to add a little extra sparkle to familiar melodies. The release of Fully Wrapped promises to be diverse—it will be released on CD and in several limited-edition vinyl formats, including stylish lollipop and marbled pink and white.
