Miley Cyrus, an actress and singer, got engaged to Maxx Morando for a humorous reason that you won’t believe.
After revealing her $150,000 ring at a recent red carpet event, Miley, 33, announced her engagement to the artist on Tuesday. On Thursday’s broadcast of “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Miley quipped that she only consented to marry Morando, 27, because of a hidden “phobia.” The former child actress told Kimmel that she “[hates] paper” and that she felt like throwing up when she saw the host’s cue cards on his desk.
“The real problem is when people have dry hands and they touch paper,” the “Hannah Montana” actress stated. Cyrus disclosed that she forces her now-fiance Morando to open all of her Amazon parcels “outside” when they get to her Los Angeles residence because of her extreme phobia. “I got engaged for that reason. She quipped, “I make my fiancé open all the packages outside.”
The Grammy Award-winning singer Miley Cyrus said, “No here,” as Kimmel jokingly pointed out that it is customary for the “first year [wedding] anniversary to be paper.” Miley Cyrus was asked by Kimmel if she would “even sign the marriage certificate.” The singer then briefly brought up her “last marriage” to her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth. She recalled that their marriage license was on “smooth paper,” which she claimed was “better.”
After a ten-year intermittent relationship, Miley and Liam split in 2020 after only 13 months of marriage. She remarked, “I believe I recall that the paper is waxed.” However, Kimmel maintained that a marriage certificate’s paper is “not waxed.” Miley wrote the ballad “Dream as One” for James Cameron’s most recent Avatar movie, “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” which was promoted with her presence on the show.
