Rajamouli confirms there is no announcement on 'Baahubali 3'

The announcement of “Baahubali 3” at the conclusion of “Baahubali: The Epic,” which debuts tomorrow, has been much anticipated by fans.

One of the most popular movie franchises in India is still Baahubali. Both Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion broke box office records, brought Telugu cinema to previously unheard-of heights, and made Prabhas a national celebrity. The two segments have now been combined into a single extended version called “Baahubali: The Epic,” which includes more previously unseen footage.

There had been much conjecture that filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli would exploit the occasion—ten years after the original Baahubali—to reveal a third installment during “The Epic’s” closing credits. But Rajamouli has already dispelled the reports, stating that he does not currently have any such intentions. Rather, he disclosed that “Baahubali: The Eternal War,” an animated film, is being developed. This animation project’s trailer will be included with Baahubali: The Epic.
