Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor revealed her second pregnancy with businessman husband Anand Ahuja on Thursday, ending months of rumors.
The “Neerja” actor Sonam Kapoor announced the news and posted a number of pictures of her growing baby belly on her Instagram account. “Mother,” she captioned the photo. The fashionista radiated Princess Diana enthusiasm while looking sophisticated in a hot-pink skirt suit with delicately curved shoulder lines and huge padded shoulders.
The star confirmed her due date of spring 2026 by reposting the image on her Instagram story. Sonam and Anand were married in a traditional ceremony on May 8, 2018, and their son Vayu was born on August 20, 2022.
The couple announced the birth of their first child as follows: “On August 20, 2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with bowed heads and open hearts.” We are grateful to all of the medical professionals, nurses, friends, and relatives who have helped us along the way. Even though it’s just the beginning, we already know that our lives will never be the same.
On Instagram, friends and followers have begun to shower the pair with congratulations. Anand, the actor’s spouse, also made a lighthearted comment on the image, writing, “Baby ma.. also chicccccc mama!” and “double trouble.”
In terms of her career, Sonam Kapoor has gained popularity with movies like “Neerja,” “Raanjhanaa,” “Veere Di Wedding,” and “Delhi 6.” She stopped making movies to spend time with her family once her son was born. Her most recent appearance was in Shome Makhija’s 2023 crime thriller “Blind,” where she costarred with Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey.
