The actress from Anyone But You recently discussed her opinions on family belongings during an interview on Stephen Colbert’s late-night show. For five generations, my family has resided on this lake. Thus, this house is where my grandmother was born and nurtured. The American actress went on, “And then she had my mom in the house and I grew up in the house.”
“The properties have all been next to each other, with all the siblings,” the Euphoria star continued. She lived next door to her parents, who were my great-grandparents. However, Sydney revealed that her great-grandmother sold it to another couple because of financial hardship when her great-grandfather died when she was born. “And when I was born, they passed away and they sold the property to another couple.”
Notably, a few years ago, Sydney regained her roots while staying loyal to them. She went on to say that her other relatives used the property as their own playground when they were growing up. The celebrity went to knock on the door in 2022 and declared, “I want to buy back my great-grandmother’s house.” For those who don’t know, Sydney’s most recent film, the boxing biopic Christy, is presently showing in theaters.
