After an online fashion business accused actress Tanjin Tisha of stealing a saree and failing to promote it as planned, she responded to the accusations of fraud. The controversy, which broke earlier this week, has ignited a whirlwind of conversation throughout social media.
Zhinuk, the proprietor of the internet company Aponia, claims that the event began in January when Tisha chose a yellow Jamdani saree that cost Tk 28,800. Given how well-known the actor is, Zhinuk offered to give the saree to Tisha in exchange for her wearing it, taking pictures of it, and sharing the brand on social media. According to reports, Tisha accepted, and the saree was brought to her house.

Tisha has apparently neglected to post the promised promotion, though, and it has been almost 10 months since then. “She sent me several voice messages assuring me she would get it done soon, but later stopped responding altogether,” Zhinuk stated to the press. Currently, the business owner has threatened to take legal action unless the saree’s price is paid.
Tisha took to social media to address the accusations, posting: “I took a gift, and now I’m a fraud? Funny! And where is the money if you wanted a professional photo shoot? An odd businesswoman! Regarding your purported gift, my best wishes.

The incident occurs while the actress is working on her first feature film, “Soldier,” which is directed by Shakeeb Fahad and stars her opposite Shakib Khan. Tisha has not yet made any public remarks regarding the project or shared any information about it on social media. She did, however, allude to her new professional chapter at a recent award ceremony, stating, “I’ve started a new journey.” I can’t say much just yet because it’s a team effort. I only ask that everyone pray for me to succeed in this next stage.
According to its description, “Soldier” is a patriotic action-drama that chronicles tenacity, hardship, and optimism. Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, Tauquir Ahmed, and Tariq Anam Khan are also part of the cast. The movie is now under production, with a late-year release date planned.
