The girls are going on another adventure together! Fans are thrilled that actor Tiffany Haddish revealed details about “Girls Trip 2,” the impending follow-up to the wildly popular comedy from 2017.
In a recent interview, Haddish stated, “I don’t know exactly where we’re going, but I know it’s somewhere exotic and somewhere we don’t normally go, but we should go as much as possible.” “I am aware of that. This summer is when we are expected to begin filming. Producer Will Packer disclosed last year that the next installment’s script was completed and that a sequel was in the works. “I have a script for the first time, but I can’t reveal it right now. We are actually looking at doing an exotic locale,” he stated.
Actors Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Regina Hall will also return to their roles with Haddish, he added, hinting at the possibility of some new friends joining the cast. “Girls Trip,” which was co-written by Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver and directed by Malcolm D. Lee, follows four women as they rebuild their friendship while traveling to New Orleans for the Essence Music Festival. High-profile cameos from Common, Estelle, Ne-Yo, Morris Chestnut, Ava DuVernay, Faith Evans, and Mariah Carey were also included in the movie, which generated an incredible $140 million at the box office on a $19 million budget.
