Triptii Dimri is preparing for the release of her upcoming romantic drama Dhadak 2, which stars Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film is slated to open in theatres this August, and Triptii and Siddhant are busy promoting it. During a latest interview, Triptii not only discussed her forthcoming film but also opened up about working with Sandeep Reddy vanga in Spirit. Triptii has replaced Deepika Padukone in the movie.
In conversation with Bollywood Hungama, actress Triptii Dimri discussed how her career has progressed with a variety of roles across genres and with some of the industry’s most respected directors. Triptii shared her thoughts on what it’s been like to work under various creative visions, saying, “Yeah, it’s good to work with different directors, because you learn so much. Every filmmaker brings their own sensibility, their own energy to a project, and that automatically pushes you to adapt and grow. I’ve just been working with Vishal, and that film is also going to come out soon, so I’m quite excited about that. After that, of course, comes Mr. Vanga’s Spirit, and I’m really excited about it.”
While details about the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film are under wraps, Triptii expressed, “It’s a beautiful film.” Spirit would be Prabhas and Triptii Dimri’s first on-screen partnership, and her second work with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and producers Bhushan Kumar and Pranay Reddy Vanga following Animal. The film, produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, stars Prabhas as a ferocious police officer and is expected to begin filming in 2025.

Dhadak 2 is produced by Karan Johar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Meenu Aroraa, Somen Mishra and Pragati Deshmukh. Shazia Iqbal directs the film, which is scheduled to open in theatres on August 1.
