Singer-songwriter and model Dua Lipa is attending the 2025 Festival of Speed this weekend with Porsche, a brand she’s been partnered with since November 2023.
Arriving at the West Sussex venue in her custom-designed Porsche Dua Lipa Rennstall 911 GT3RS finished in a livery that she personally helped design, the car will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s, with all proceeds going to the Sunny Hill Foundation. This charity, founded by Lipa herself, works to support Kosovar society with a focus on arts and culture.
“Very lucky to get to work with the Porsche team and to create something that feels really unique and fun. And to bring it down here to Goodwood,” she said at the event. “And the sun’s shining for us, so it’s a good day all round.”Born in London, but with Albanian heritage, Lipa has worked with Porsche on several projects. Earlier this year she attended the Monaco Grand Prix with the German brand, and was driven around the Principality in the same GT3RS supercar we see this weekend.
“Yeah, we have a really good time. It’s great because as a team creatively, they really have allowed me to just kind of express my creativity and things that, I guess, I didn’t really expect anyone to let me do.”They were like, ‘yeah, go for it, just have fun and enjoy,’ and I think that’s really like… I think the core values of the brand really.”
Powered by a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine, the car produces 525 PS and 465 Nm of torque, funnelled through a seven-speed PDK gearbox. Paired with a stiff track-focused chassis and active aerodynamics, not to mention the Weissach Package, this car is something very special. “I’m here as a trusty sidekick,” Lipa said on her drive up the hill. “I love speed. Adrenaline all the way.”The singer was driven up the hill in the car by Iron Dames driver Karen Gaillard this weekend, but she caught the motorsport bug when attending Le Mans in 2023.
“Getting to know the Porsche team and digging into the brand’s legacy has only further solidified my love for them,” she said at the time after driving the all-electric Taycan. “Between Le Mans this summer and recently getting to experience the power of an all-electric Porsche first-hand in LA, I’m so excited to see how many other once in a lifetime moments are born from our partnership.“Bidding opened on the auction yesterday at 10am GMT and closes Thursday, 31 July at 4pm GMT.
